INTRODUCTION:

The purpose of this page is to document Scriptural references to counter the dispensationalist view that there are seperate rules for Hebrews and and the rest of the world.

DISPENSATIONALISM:

an evangelical, futurist, Biblical interpretation that understands God to have related to human beings in different ways under different Biblical covenants in a series of "dispensations," or periods in history

If sin is transgression of Torah (1 John 3:4) and Adam and Eve sinned in the garden of Eden, then Adam and Eve had Torah.

SCRIPTURE REFERENCES:

21 'Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.'  (KJV)

This earliest recorded sin sacrifice.  Immediately after confronting them with their transgressions, YHWH covers them with the skin of an innocent animal - killed just for them.

At this time there are no Jews and no Hebrews.

2 'Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.'  (KJV)

8 'Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,'  (KJV)

It would appear that Noah knew about kosher dietary laws.

At this time there are no Jews and no Hebrews.

20 'And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.'  (KJV)

It would appear that Noah knew about animal sacrifice and kosher dietary laws.

At this time there are no Jews and no Hebrews.

18 'Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?'  (KJV)

ALL the nations.

16 'And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously between every man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him.'  (KJV)

This included the 'stranger that is with him'.

33 'And all Israel, and their elders, and officers, and their judges, stood on this side the ark and on that side before the priests the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, as well the stranger, as he that was born among them; half of them over against mount Gerizim, and half of them over against mount Ebal; as Moses the servant of the LORD had commanded before, that they should bless the people of Israel.'  (KJV)

34 'And afterward he read all the words of the law, the blessings and cursings, according to all that is written in the book of the law.'  (KJV)

35 'There was not a word of all that Moses commanded, which Joshua read not before all the congregation of Israel, with the women, and the little ones, and the strangers that were conversant among them.'  (KJV)

28 'Then one of the priests whom they had carried away from Samaria came and dwelt in Bethel, and taught them how they should fear the LORD.'  (KJV)

This was done to stop the lions from attacking.

34 'Unto this day they do after the former manners: they fear not the LORD, neither do they after their statutes, or after their ordinances, or after the law and commandment which the LORD commanded the children of Jacob, whom he named Israel;'  (KJV)

If the Torah is only for the Hebrew people, why is it mentioned here in relation to the Gentiles living in the land.

41 'So these nations feared the LORD, and served their graven images, both their children, and their children's children: as did their fathers, so do they unto this day.'  (KJV)

If the Torah is only for the Hebrew people, why is it mentioned here in relation to the Gentiles living in the land.

2 'And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.'  (KJV)

ALL nations shall flow unto it.

3 'And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.'  (KJV)

4 'And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.'  (KJV)

5 'For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.'  (KJV)

He is the Elohim of ALL the whole earth.

25 'Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;'  (KJV)

26 'Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.'  (KJV)

2 'Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the LORD from his holy temple.'  (KJV)

This verse is referring to ALL the people of the earth.
