INTRODUCTION:

The purpose of this page is to document the dangers of translating the Scriptures incorrectly.

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" (2 Timothy 3:16) (KJV)

SCRIPTURE REFERENCES:

16 'Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.'  (KJV)

Obviously, Job/Iyob/Yob’s wife was not speaking according to inspiration here, and we cannot use this for doctrine.

16 'All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:'  (KJV)

This verse is referring to the TeNaKh as the B'rit Chadasha had not been written at this time.
