The Book of 2 Timothy

2 Timothy 2:3-4

"3Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ." (KJV)

"4No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier." (KJV)

A good verse for all the Christian soldiers and warriers for Christ to consider.

2 Timothy 3:12

"12Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution." (KJV)

2 Timothy 3:16

'16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:'

Paul was referring to the TeNaKh as the B'rit Chadasha had not been written at this time.

2 Timothy 4:3-4

"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;" (KJV)

"And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables." (KJV)

Written by Paul while in prison around 66AD.
