The Book of Colossians

Colossians 1:16

16For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:(KJV)

YAHUSHUA created everything and everything was created for HIM.

Colossians Chapter 2

Colossians 2:10

"And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:" (KJV)

Guess this applies to Popes, preachers, rabbis, governors, kings and princes

The laws of men -vs- the TORAH of YHWH.

Colossians 2:16-17

"16Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:" (KJV)

"17Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ." (KJV)

Translation Difference

"16 Let no one therefore judge you in eating or in drinking, or in respect of a festival or a new moon or Sabbaths –" (The ISR Scriptures)

"17which are a shadow of what is to come – but the Body of the Messiah. i" (The ISR Scriptures)

i - The Body of Messiah, the assembly, is to give ruling on all matters, not the outsiders!

"16 Let no individual man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a moed, or in the Rosh Chodesh, or in the Shabbat days:" (The Restoration Scriptures)

"Which are shadows of things to come; except the Yisraelite body of Moshiach. 6221" (The Restoration Scriptures)

6221 - Since Yisrael is expected to follow all of YHWH’s eternal ways, when we do the eternal ordinances, no one outside the body of Renewed Covenant Yisrael can, or has the right to, judge the manner in which we celebrate. The premise here is not if we celebrate, but proper guidance when we celebrate. No one but the congregation of Yisrael, can guide us in the manner that we celebrate. Moreover, verse 17 states that when we do these eternal feasts, we show forth the future kingdom to come, not things in the past. So if the celebration itself is a prophetic foreshadow of coming things, how is it that the celebrating of them takes anyone back to, or back "under the law," when Paul states just the opposite.

These things are shadows of something to come. What is coming? The return of the Messiah.
These things are necessary for you to understand the return of the Messiah.
The new moon, the Sabbath and the festivals prepare you and teach you about Messiah's second coming.

  • You need to be following Torah.
  • You need to be following Sabbath.
  • You need to be following the new moon.
  • You need to be following the annual Holy Days.

Colossians 2:22

"22Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?" (KJV)

Translation Difference

which are all to perish with use – according to the commands and teachings of men? k (The ISR Scriptures)

k - Note: commands and teachings of men, not of Elohim.

Colossians 3

The Christian family

Colossians 3:5

"5Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:" (KJV)

Colossians 3:8

"8But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth." (KJV)

No swearing

Colossians 3:9

"9Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;" (KJV)

No lying

Colossians 3:11

"11Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all." (KJV)

YAHUSHA removes the division
