Hosea Chapter 1

Hosea 1:2

YHWH tells Hosea to take a wife.

Hosea 1:3

Hosea marries Gomer the daughter of Diblaim; who conceives and bears him a son.

Hosea 1:4

"4And the LORD said unto him, Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause to cease the kingdom of the house of Israel."(KJV)

YHWH says to call the first son, of Hosea and Gomer, Jezreel/Yisre'ĕl.

YHWH says that HE is going to bring an end to the Kingdom of the house of Israel.

Hosea 1:6

"6And she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And God said unto him, Call her name Loruhamah: for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel; but I will utterly take them away."(KJV)

YHWH says to call the first daughter, of Hosea and Gomer, Loruhamah/Lo-Ruhamah.

Hosea 1:7

"7But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the LORD their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen."(KJV)

YHWH says HE will have mercy on the house of Judah.

Hosea 1:8

"8Now when she had weaned Loruhamah, she conceived, and bare a son."(KJV)

Gomer gives Hosea a second son.

Hosea 1:9

"9Then said God, Call his name Loammi: for ye are not my people, and I will not be your God."(KJV)

YHWH says to call the second son, of Hosea and Gomer, Loammi/Lo-Ammi.

"... not my people ..."

Hosea 1:10

"10Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God."(KJV)

YHWH says that the children of Israel shall be to many to count.

"... not my people ..."

Hosea 1:11

"11Then shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together, and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Jezreel."(KJV)

YHWH says that the children of Judah and the children of Israel shall be gathered together under one ruler.

Hosea Chapter 2

Hosea 2:1

1Say ye unto your brethren, Ammi; and to your sisters, Ruhamah.(KJV)

Translation Difference

"Say to your brothers, O my people, and to your sisters, O, compassioned one."(The Besorah Of Yahusha)

Why didn't king Jimmy translate these words?

Hosea 2:2

2Plead with your mother, plead: for she is not my wife, neither am I her husband: let her therefore put away her whoredoms out of her sight, and her adulteries from between her breasts;(KJV)

Is this referring to the 'Church'?

Hosea 2:8-9

8For she did not know that I gave her corn, and wine, and oil, and multiplied her silver and gold, which they prepared for Baal.(KJV)

9Therefore will I return, and take away my corn in the time thereof, and my wine in the season thereof, and will recover my wool and my flax given to cover her nakedness.(KJV)

Translation Difference

8""And she did not acknowledge that I gave her grain, and new wine, and oil, and increased her silver and gold which they prepared for Ba'al."(The ISR Scriptures)

9""Therefore I shall turn back and shall take my grain in its time and My new wine in its season, and I shall take away My wool and My linen covering her nakedness."(The ISR Scriptures)

Corn is native to the Americas and did not exist in the Middle East during this time.

Hosea 2:11

11I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feast days, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her solemn feasts.(KJV)

What is meant by this?

Hosea 2:13

13And I will visit upon her the days of Baalim, wherein she burned incense to them, and she decked herself with her earrings and her jewels, and she went after her lovers, and forgat me, saith the LORD.(KJV)

Translation Difference

""And I shall punish her for the days of the Ba'als to which she burned incense and adorned herself with her rings and jewelry and went after her lovers and forgot me." declares YHWH." (The Besorah Of Yahusha)

""And I shall punish her for the days of the Ba'als to which she burned incense and adorned herself with her rings and jewelry, and went after her lovers, and forgot Me,” declares YHWH."

Hosea 2:16

16And it shall be at that day, saith the LORD, that thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no more Baali.(KJV)

Translation Difference

"And it shall be, in that day, declares YHWH, that you call me My Husband, and no longer call me My Ba'al"(The ISR Scriptures)

Ba'al translates to my Lord.

Hosea 2:17

17For I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name.(KJV)

Translation Difference

""And I shall remove the names of the Ba'als from her mouth and they shall no more be remembered by their name." (The Besorah Of Yahusha)

Hosea 2:22

And the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall hear Jezreel.(The Besorah Of Yahusha)

Translation Difference

"and the earth answer the grain and the new wine and the oil, and they answer Yizre'el." (The Besorah Of Yahusha)

Corn is native to the Americas and did not exist in the Middle East during this time.

Ignorance is not an excuse.

Hosea Chapter 5

Hosea 5:1

"I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for now, O Ephraim, thou committest whoredom, and Israel is defiled."(KJV)

YHWH knows who Ephraim and Israel are.

Hosea 5:9

9Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be.(KJV)

I believe Ephraim is the key to anyone not of the blood, to enter into the kingdom through Joseph.

Hosea Chapter 6

Hosea 6

This chapter speaks of the priests and prophets that have profaned the word of YHWH.

Hosea 6:7

"7But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me."(KJV)

Translation Difference

"But like Adam they transgressed the covenant. There they acted treacherously against Me."  (ISR Scriptures)

"But like Ahdahm they have transgressed the brit: there have they dealt treacherously against Me." (The Restoration Scriptures)

This verse is referring to the Adamic Covenant

Hosea 6:9

"9And as troops of robbers wait for a man, so the company of priests murder in the way by consent: for they commit lewdness."(KJV)

Hosea Chapter 7

Hosea 7:14

14And they have not cried unto me with their heart, when they howled upon their beds: they assemble themselves for corn and wine, and they rebel against me.

Translation Difference

14and did not cry out to Me with their heart when they wailed upon their beds. For grain and new wine they assemble themselves; they turn away from Me.(The ISR Scriptures)

Corn is indigenous to the Americas and did not exist in the Middle East at this time.

Hosea Chapter 8

Hosea 9:3

"3They shall not dwell in the LORD's land; but Ephraim shall return to Egypt, and they shall eat unclean things in Assyria."(KJV)

Translation Difference

"They shall not dwell in YHWH's land; but Efrayim shall return to Mitzrayim, and they shall eat unclean things in Ashshur." (The Restoration Scriptures)

"But like Ahdahm they have transgressed the brit: there have they dealt treacherously against Me." (The Restoration Scriptures)

Hosea 9:5

"5What will ye do in the solemn day, and in the day of the feast of the LORD?"(KJV)

When is the 'day of the feast of the YHWH'?

Hosea 9:9

"9They have deeply corrupted themselves, as in the days of Gibeah: therefore he will remember their iniquity, he will visit their sins."(KJV)

In this story, the people of the town raped the man's concubine to death.

Hosea Chapter 10

Hosea 10:4

4They have spoken words, swearing falsely in making a covenant: thus judgment springeth up as hemlock in the furrows of the field.(KJV)

Covenant

Hosea 10:11

11And Ephraim is as an heifer that is taught, and loveth to tread out the corn; but I passed over upon her fair neck: I will make Ephraim to ride; Judah shall plow, and Jacob shall break his clods.(KJV)

Translation Difference

11And Ephrayim is a trained heifer, loving to thresh grain. But I Myself shall pass over her comely neck - I put Ephrayim to the yoke, Yehudah ploughs, Ya'aqob harrows for him. (The ISR Scriptures)

There was no corn in the Middle East at this time. Corn came later, from the Americas.

Hosea Chapter 11

Hosea 12:1

1Ephraim feedeth on wind, and followeth after the east wind: he daily increaseth lies and desolation; and they do make a covenant with the Assyrians, and oil is carried into Egypt.(KJV)

Hosea 12:8-9

8And Ephraim said, Yet I am become rich, I have found me out substance: in all my labours they shall find none iniquity in me that were sin.(KJV)

9And I that am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt will yet make thee to dwell in tabernacles, as in the days of the solemn feast.(KJV)

Sounds like a prophecy about the United States.

Hosea Chapter 13

Hosea 13:4

4Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.(KJV)

Translation Difference

'Yet I am YHWH your Elohim who fortifies the shamayim and creates the earth, whose hands made the whole host of the shamayim, but I did not show them to you to go after them, but I brought you up from the land of Mitzrayim, and you shall know no other elohim but Me: for there is no Savior besides Me.' (The Restoration Scriptures)

Strong evidence that YHWH IS and was YAHUSHUA

Hosea Chapter 14

General Notes On The Book Of Hosea:

Hosea 1:1 identifies the author of the book as the Prophet Hosea. It is Hosea's personal account of his prophetic messages to the children of God and to the world. Hosea is the only prophet of Israel who left any written prophecies which were recorded during the later years of his life.

Date Of Writing:

Hosea, the son of Beeri, prophesied for quite some time, from 785 to 725 B.C. The Book of Hosea was likely written between 755 and 725 B.C.

This book details when the Northern ten (10) tribes were sent into exile.
The Book of Hosea tells of Ephraim's punishment and promised restoration and is often referenced in the B'rit Chadasha/New Testament
