Joel Chapter 1

Joel 1:3

3Tell ye your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation.(KJV)

This appears to be saying this is a future prophecy and not what was going on in the Holy Land at the time.

A fire will devour the entire earth. Nothing shall escape them.

Joel 2:9

"9They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief." (KJV)

This seems to be a futurist prophecy as this has not happened yet.

"31The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come." (KJV)

Is this verse referring to a lunar and solar eclipse?
