Curious as to why they decided to leave this Hebrew word untranslated here.

Merriam-Webster affettuoso : tender or affecting —used as a direction in music

Is the author trying to say ...think about it?

This verse might not have been referring to banners or flags but rather signal fires that were lit on the mountain tops for all the people to see.

This verse disputes the "age of grace" theory. The grace of YHWH is from everlasting to everlasting. It has ALWAYS been with us and ALWAYS will be.

This explanation does not make sense in my humble opinion. While I agree with the point that the Christian translation of the second use of the word lord is incorrect, I still do not know who David is referring to. The author claims that YHWH is speaking to David and that David wrote this as if YHWH was speaking to him but that does not make sense.

Since David's children have not sat upon his throne forever, does this mean that they have NOT kept HIS covenant and HIS testimony?
