Titus Chapter 1

Titus 1:14

14Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.(KJV)

It would appear that even back then, they had the same problems we have today. Fables and man's laws turning people from the truth.

Jewish/Yahudim/Yahudite/Ioudaikos (ee-oo-dah-ee-kos') - (G 2451) - from Ioudaios 2453; Judaic, i.e. resembling a Judaean:--Jewish.; (G 2453) - from Iouda 2448 (in the sense of Ioudas 2455 as a country); Judaean, i.e. belonging to Jehudah:--Jew(-ess), of Judaea.; (G 2448) - of Hebrew origin (3063 or perhaps Yuttah 3194); Judah (i.e. Jehudah or Juttah), a part of (or place in) Palestine:--Judah.; (G 2455) - of Hebrew origin (Yhuwdah 3063); Judas (i.e. Jehudah), the name of ten Israelites; also of the posterity of one of them and its region:--Juda(-h, -s); Jude.

Titus Chapter 2

Titus Chapter 3

Titus 3:1

1Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,(KJV)

Shadrach/Shadrak, Meshach/Mĕyshak, Abednego/Abed-nego/Abĕd Nego and Daniel/Dani'ĕl all disobeyed the king when he was told to do something wrong. The churches like to use this verse to make people submit to their evil. The reference from the book of Daniel chapters 3 & 6 offer proof that we are NOT to obey evil.
