Zechariah Chapter 1

Zechariah Chapter 1

Four horns and four carpenters

Zechariah 1:7

7Upon the four and twentieth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Sebat, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying," (KJV)

The month Sebat

Zechariah 1:8

8I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that were in the bottom; and behind him were there red horses, speckled, and white.(KJV)

Horses:
Red
Speckled
White

Zechariah 1:12

12Then the angel of the LORD answered and said, O LORD of hosts, how long wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years?

The 70 years of exile are mentioned.
threescore and ten = 70 years
Modern Israel became a nation in 1948
1948 + 70 = 2018

Zechariah 1:16

The rebuilding of the 2nd temple is mentioned.

Zechariah 1:18-21

18Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns.(KJV)

Four horns
I think the four (4) horns represent four (4) kings.

19And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.(KJV)

20And the LORD shewed me four carpenters.(KJV)

Four carpenters.
I do not understand what the four (4) carpenters represent.

21Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.(KJV)

Four horns, four carpenters.
I think the four (4) horns represent four (4) kings.
Do not know what the (4) carpenters represent.

Zechariah Chapter 2

Four horns and carpenters. Is the Messiah one the angels mentioned here?

Zechariah 2:8

8For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye." (KJV)

Translation Difference

8For thus said YHWH of hosts (for the sake of esteem He sent me to the gentiles which plunder you): “For he who touches you touches the apple of My eye. b" (The ISR Scriptures)

b - See Deb 32:10

Zechariah 2:11

11And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee." (KJV)

'many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day'

Zechariah Chapter 3

Zechariah Chapter 3

The candlestick and trees

Zechariah 3:2

2And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?(KJV)

I cannot figure out exactly who is speaking in this verse. Is it YHWH or YAHUSHUA?

Zechariah 3:6

6And the angel of the LORD protested unto Joshua, saying,(KJV)

Translation Difference

And the messenger of YHWH witnessed to Yehoshua saying,(The ISR Scriptures)

Zechariah 3:8

8Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH." (KJV)

Zechariah Chapter 4

Zechariah 4:2

2And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:" (KJV)

candlestick all of gold
a bowl upon the top of it
seven lamps thereon
seven pipes to the seven lamps

Zechariah 4:3

3And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof." (KJV)

two olive trees

Zechariah 4:10

10For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth." (KJV)

seven
the eyes of the LORD

Zechariah 4:11

11Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?" (KJV)

two olive trees
candlestick

Zechariah 4:12

12And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?" (KJV)

two olive branches
two golden pipes

Zechariah 4:14

14Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the LORD of the whole earth.(KJV)

Who are the 2 annointed ones?
Does this represent the house of Judah and the house of Israel?

Zechariah Chapter 5

Zechariah Chapter 5

The flying roll (scroll).

Zechariah 5:7

7And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah." (KJV)

talent - unit of weight ~ 75lbs.

Zechariah 5:11

11And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base." (KJV)

The land of Shinar is Iraq or Babylon.

Zechariah Chapter 6

Zechariah Chapter 6

Zechariah 6:2

2In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses;" (KJV)

Interesting. I wonder if this is a reference to horses mentioned in the book of Revelation chapter 6.

Zechariah 6:3

3And in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled and bay horses." (KJV)

Interesting. I wonder if this is a reference to horses mentioned in the book of Revelation chapter 6.

Zechariah 6:5

5And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the LORD of all the earth." (KJV)

The four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the LORD of all the earth.
Who or what are these four spirits of the heavens?

Zechariah 6:6

6The black horses which are therein go forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grisled go forth toward the south country." (KJV)

Black horses - Go into the north country
White horses - Go after the black horses
Grisled horses - Go towards the south country

Zechariah 6:7

7And the bay went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth: and he said, Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth.(KJV)

Translation Difference

'And the strong ones went out, eager to go, to walk to and fro in the earth. And He said, "Go, walk to and fro in the earth." So they walked to and fro in the earth.'(The ISR Scriptures)

Zechariah 6:8

8Then cried he upon me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, these that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country." (KJV)

Translation Difference

'Then he called out to me, and spoke to me, saying, See, these that go toward the north country have quieted my ruach in the north country. 3291' (The Restoration Scriptures)

3291 These very well could be the four horsemen and chariots of the apocalypse in Revelation 6, which are designed to really get things going in Jacob's Trouble. It may well be that since in the prior vision Yisrael was scattered to Babylon, or Shinar, that these horsemen are YHWH's judgment on the unsaved and unrepentant living in Babylon's ways. But just like Jeremiah 30:7, this verse states Jacob's redeemed remnant will be saved out of Jacob's Trouble by protection.

'And he called to me, and spoke to me, saying, "See, those who go toward the land of the north have given rest to My Spirit in the land of the north"'(The ISR Scriptures)

Zechariah 6:11

11Then take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest;" (KJV)

The Interlinear scriptures show that HIS name is YAHUSHUA.
Why is Joshua's name spelled different in the book of Ezra?

Translation Difference

'"And you shall take the silver and gold, make a crown, and set it on the head of Yehoshua the son of Yehotsadaq, the high priest,' (The ISR Scriptures)

'Then take the silver and gold, and make a keter, and set it on the head of Yahoshua the son of Yehotsadaq, the Kohen HaGadol;' (The Restoration Scriptures)

Zechariah 6:12

12And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:" (KJV)

The Messiah is referred to as 'The Branch'.
The BRANCH will rule upon his throne.
The BRANCH will be a priest upon HIS throne.
Is this prophesing that the Messiah's name will be the same as Joshua's?

Jeremiah 23:5
Zechariah 3:8

Translation Difference

'and shall speak to him, saying, 'Thus said YHWH of hosts, saying, "See, the Man whose name is the Branch! h And from His place He shall branch out, and He shall build the Hĕkal of YHWH.' (The ISR Scriptures)

'And speak to him, saying, This says YHWH tzevaoth, saying, See the Man whose Name is the Tsemach-Branch; and He shall grow up out of His place, and He shall rebuild the Hekal of YHWH: 3292' (The Restoration Scriptures)

3292 This anointed High Priest is also Yisrael's King, who rebuilds the Temple. According to Torah, no mortal man can be both High Priest and King. Only YHWH Himself in the person of Messiah can be both. The same Yahshua, in the millennial age to come, will physically restore the Temple, first rebuilt in the Spirit realm of His universal body.

Zechariah Chapter 7

Zechariah Chapter 7

YHWH will restore Jerusalem

Zechariah 7:1

1And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Darius, that the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month, even in Chisleu;" (KJV)

The pagan name for the 9th month, Kislĕw is also called (Kislĕv)

Translation Difference

'1And in the fourth year of Sovereighn Dareyawesh it come to be that the word of YHWH came to Zekaryah, on the fourth of the ninth month, Kislĕw(Kislĕv).' (The ISR Scriptures)

'1And it came to pass in the fourth year of melech Daryawesh, that the word of YHWH came to Zecharyah in the fourth day of the ninth month, even in Chislev;' (The Restoration Scriptures)

Zechariah 7:2

2When they had sent unto the house of God Sherezer and Regemmelech, and their men, to pray before the LORD," (KJV)

Translation Difference

'Now Bĕyth Ĕl had sent Shar'etser, with Regem-Melek and his men, to pray before YHWH,' (The ISR Scriptures)

'When they had sent Sheretzer and Regem-Melech to Beth-El, with their men, to make tefillah before YHWH,' (The Restoration Scriptures)

Zechariah 7:5

5Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?" (KJV)

The pagan name for the 5th month is Av.

While there are no qodesh days in this month, I think this is the month they were taken by the Babylonians.

The pagan name for the 7th month is Tishri. The 7th month has the following qodesh days:

  • Yom Teruah (Day of Trumpets) on the 1st day.
  • Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) on the 10th day.
  • Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) on the 15th day.
  • HaShanna Rabbah (The Last Great Day) Feast of Conclusion on the 22nd day.

The 70 years was the period of Babylonian captivity (exile).

Zechariah 7:9

9Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:" (KJV)

"Execute true right-ruling, show kindness and compassion everyone to his brother."

Zechariah 7:10

10And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart." (KJV)

"Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the stranger or the poor. And do not plot evil in your hearts against one another."

Zechariah 7:12

12Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts." (KJV)

"The definition of a stoney heart."

Zechariah 7:13

13Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the LORD of hosts:" (KJV)

Translation Difference

'And it came to be: as He called and they did not hear, so let them call, but I shall not hear." said YHWH of hosts. (The Besorah Of Yahusha)

Zechariah Chapter 8

YHWH will restore Jerusalem

Zechariah 8:7

'7Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country;' (KJV)

YHWH will save HIS people from the east nations and the west nations.

Zechariah 8:13

'13And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong.' (KJV)

YHWH will bless the house of Israel and the house of Judah.

Zechariah 8:16-17

16"These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:" (KJV)

17"And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD." (KJV)

Things that YHWH hates.

Zechariah 8:19

19Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace." (KJV)

Translation Difference

'19"Thus said YHWH of hosts, 'The fast of the fourth, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth months, are to be joy and gladness, and pleasant appointed times for the house of Yehudah – and they shall love the truth and the peace.'' (The ISR Scriptures)

'19This says YHWH tzevaoth; The fast of the fourth month, 3310 and the fast of the fifth, 3311 and the fast of the seventh, 3312 and the fast of the tenth, 3313 shall be to Beit Yahudah for simcha and gilah, and joyous pleasant moadim; 3314 therefore love the emet and shalom. 3315' (The Restoration Scriptures)

  • 3310 The 4th month fast commemorates the breach in Jerusalem's walls.
  • 3311 The destruction of the Temple on the 9th of the 5th month.
  • 3312 The fast commemorating the murder of Gedaliah.
  • 3313 The fast commemorating the start of the siege against Jerusalem.
  • 3314 This is the answer to the question of those who came earlier from Medo-Persia wanting to know if they should continue in the various fasts of Judah, which were man-made. Here YHWH says that in the great restoration of all things, He will take these various days of fasting like that of the 9th of the 5th month and the fast of Gedaliah in the 7th month and literally turn them into appointed times, somewhat equal and similar to the current feasts of Leviticus 23.
  • 3315 Efrayim will be invited and expected to rejoice with Judah, based on the principle of Yisraelite brotherhood to “rejoice with those who rejoice” as found in the Renewed Covenant.

'19So says Yahweh of Hosts: The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall become for joy and gladness and cheerful feasts to the house of Judah. Therefore, love truth and peace.' (Hebraic Roots Bible)

Zechariah 8:23

23Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you. (KJV)

Taken in context with the previous verse, (Zechariah 8:22), the use of the word 'Jew' here could mean Judean or people from the house of Judah. (It cannot mean the tribe of Judah since all Hebrews are allowed in Jerusalem and the Holy City is more the abode of the Levites than the Yahudites.)

Translation Difference

'"Thus said YhWH of hosts, 'In those days ten men from all languages of the nations take hold, yea, they shall take hold of the edge of the garment of a man, a Yehudite, saying, “Let us go with you, for we have heard that Elohim is with you .' " j (The ISR Scriptures)

'This says YHWH tzevaoth; In those days 3317 it shall come to pass, that ten men 3318 shall take hold 3319 out of all languages of the nations, 3320 even shall take hold of the tzitzit 3321 of him that is a Yahudi, saying, We will go with you: 3322 for we have heard that Elohim is with you. 3323' (The Restoration Scriptures)

3317 Latter-days.

3318 Ten tribes of Yisrael.

3319 Literally "seek out."

3320 The ten tribes will come out of all nations speaking all languages - not Hebrew.

3321 Fringes on a four-cornered garment.

3322 In unity as one.

3323 Efrayim goes with a remnant of Judah, who has come to know YHWH as promised in Jeremiah 31:31. The idea that Efrayim is supposed to “take hold” of unredeemed Judah is not Scripturally based. This verse, taken in context with Jeremiah 31:31, states that Efrayim must join a born-again Spirit-filled Jew of the Renewed Covenant, in his, or her return.

'Thus says YHWH of hosts, In those days ten men from all the nations will grasp the garment of a Jew, saying, Let us go with you, for we have heard that Elohim is with you.' (Interlinear Zechariah)

Zechariah Chapter 9

The coming of the king

Zechariah 9:9

9Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.(KJV)

Zechariah is prophesying that the coming king will first appear lowly or humbly, not the conquering king that Judaism is looking for.

Zechariah 9:13

13When I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and made thee as the sword of a mighty man.(KJV)

Translation Differences

13"For I shall ben Yehudah for Me, I shall fill the bow with Ephrayim, and I shall stir up your sons, O Tsiyon, against your sons, O Greece, and I shall make you like the sword of a mighty man."(The ISR Scriptures)

A very interesting reference to Ephraim.

Zechariah Chapter 10

Zechariah Chapter 10

YHWH's people redeemed

Zechariah 10:10-11

10I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and place shall not be found for them." (KJV)

11And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away. (KJV)"

Are these verses referring to the second Exodus?
Is YHWH referring to the Messiah in this verse?

Zechariah Chapter 11

The rejection of the king

Zechariah 11:7

7And I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock." (KJV)

Translation Differences

'7So I shepherded the flock meant for slaughter, the truly poor of the flock. And I took for myself two staffs, the one I called Pleasantness, and the other I called Unity, and I shepherded the flock.' (The ISR Scriptures)

'7So I will feed the flock destined for slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took to Myself two staffs; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Unity; and I fed the flock. 3355 ' (The Restoration Scriptures)

3355 YHWH will rescue both houses from destruction and will feed them truth.

Could this be referenced to YAHUSHUA's statement of taking up your cross and following me?
Could this be referenced to the prophecy in Ezekiel 37:16?
16:24-26
Luke 9:23

Zechariah 11:10

10And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people.(KJV)

HE does not mention breaking the staff called Bands. If the staff Beauty represents HIS covenant with all the people, what does the staff Bands represent?

Zechariah Chapter 12

Zechariah Chapter 12

The pierced one
End of Days Keys:

Zechariah 12:1

1The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.(KJV)

Translation Difference

The message of the word of YHWH against Yisra'el. YHWH, stretching out the heavens, and laying the foundation of the earth, and forming the spirit of man within him, declares,(The ISR Scriptures)

Why does the King Jimmy keep calling the message of YHWH a burden?

Zechariah 12:2

Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.(KJV)

Translation Difference

'"See, I am making Yerushalayim a cup of reeling to all the people all around, and also against Yehudah it is in the siege against Yerushalayim.' (The ISR Scriptures)

'See, I will make Yahrushalayim a cup of trembling to all the people around her, 3367 when they shall be in the siege both against Yahudah and against Yahrushalayim. 3368' (The Restoration Scriptures)

3367 - YHWH will bring all the House of Dawid back to the land, but not before Judah, so that the Efrayimites cannot magnify themselves over Judah, by reinforcing the error of Replacement Theology, which teaches that non-Jewish believers who break Torah somehow become the “New Yisrael.”

3368 - Unbeatable in power and might, against all Islamic nations seeking to remove Jerusalem from Yisrael's care.

'Behold, I am going to make Yerushalayim a cup that causes reeling to all the peoples around; and when the siege is against Yerushalam, it will also be against Yahudah.' (Interlinear Zechariah)

'Behold! I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling to all the peoples all around, and it shall also be against Judah in the siege against Jerusalem.' (Hebraic Roots Bible)

Zechariah 12:3

3And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.(KJV)

Translation Difference

3"And in that day it shall be that I make Yerushalayim a very heavy stone for all peoples - all lifting it are severely injured. And all the nations of the earth shall be gathered against it.(The ISR Scriptures)

Zechariah 12:10

10And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.(KJV)

Translation Difference

10And I shall pour on the house of Dawid and on the inhabitants of Yerushalayim a spirit of favour and prayers. And they shall look on Me whom they pierced, and they shall mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son. And they shall be in bitterness over Him as a bitterness over the first-born.(The ISR Scriptures)

The King James translation removed capitalization.

Zechariah 12:13

13The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart;" (KJV)

Why has HE singled out the house of Levi?

Zechariah Chapter 13

Israel chastened

Zechariah 13:1

1In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.(KJV)

Translation Difference

"In that day a fountain shall be opened for the house of Dawid and for the inhabitants of Yerushalayim, for sin and for uncleanness"(The ISR Scriptures)

I think the purpose of this fountain is to clean them of their sins.

Zechariah 13:6

6And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends." (KJV)

Translation Difference

"And one shall say to him, 'What are these wounds in your hands?' And he shall say, 'Because I was struck at home by those who love me.'"(The ISR Scriptures)

Zechariah 13:8

8And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.(KJV)

Two thirds (2/3's) of the people will die.

Zechariah 13:9

9And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God." (KJV)

YHWH is saying he will try/test/refine the remnant.

Translation Difference

'9"And I shall bring the third into fire, and refine them as silver is refined, and try them as gold is tried. They shall call on My Name, n and I shall answer them. I shall say, 'This is My people,' while they say, 'YHWH is my Elohim.' "' (The ISR Scriptures)

'9And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on My Name, 3392 and I will hear them: I will say, It is My people-Ami: and they shall say, YHWH is the Name of my Elohim! 3393' (The Restoration Scriptures)

3392 - Another amazing prophecy of the High Priest named Joshua, anointed by YHWH to rebuild the Temple of YHWH. In Ephesians 2, we find this fulfilled as Yahoshua the Messiah builds His Temple, with stones from both houses, fitly framed together. Even the word “see, or behold the man” is right from the evangels and was pronounced by Pontius Pilate. Certainly Yahshua's Name appears as the King and Priest over Renewed Covenant Yisrael, several times in the First Covenant.

3393 - This anointed High Priest is also Yisrael's King, who rebuilds the Temple. According to Torah, no mortal man can be both High Priest and King. Only YHWH Himself in the person of Messiah can be both. The same Yahshua, in the millennial age to come, will physically restore the Temple, first rebuilt in the Spirit realm of His universal body.

Zechariah Chapter 14

Judah's king supreme

Zechariah 14:1

1Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee." (KJV)

the day of the LORD

Zechariah 14:2-3

2For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city." (KJV)

3Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle." (KJV)

It sounds like YHWH will go against the nations AFTER Jerusalem has been ravaged.

When was the day of battle? I wonder if this was when HE fought against SA Tan's rebellion.

Translation Difference

2And I shall gather all the gentiles to battle against Yerushalayim. o And the city shall be taken, the houses plundered, and the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into exile, but the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city." (The ISR Scriptures)

Zechariah 14:4

4And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south." (KJV)

YHWH's feet shall stand on the mount of Olives and HE will split the mount of Olives; half the mountain will go to the north, and half will go to the south.

Zechariah 14:7

7But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light. " (KJV)

Pole shift?

Zechariah 14:14

14And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance." (KJV)

This verse states that Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem. This reference seems to indicate that the tribe of Judah will be there either when the Messiah returns or before HIS return.

Zechariah 14:16-19

16And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles." (KJV)

17And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain." (KJV)

18And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles." (KJV)

19This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles." (KJV)

All the nations will be required to go to Jerusalem every year to worship the Messiah and to keep the feast of tabernacles. Anyone that does not come up will have no rain.
We will be keeping the feast of tabernacles after the Messiah's return. The LORD will smite the heathen that do not come up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
