1Corinthians Chapter 1

This book was written primarily to non-Hebrews.

1Corinthians 1:31

(Jeremiah 9:23) - 'But let him that boasts, boast in this, that he understands and knows Me, 2051 that I am YHWH who exercises loving-kindness, mishpat, and tzedakah, in the earth: for in these things I delight, says YHWH.' (The Restoration Scriptures)

2051 - Quoted by Paul in I Corinthians 1:31, further evidence that they were an Efrayimite congregation in exile, since only Yisrael knew YHWH in the first place, and he takes that Scripture given to Yisrael and applies it to the Corinthians.

1Corinthians Chapter 2

1Corinthians 2:11

11For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. (KJV)

No man knows the spirit of YHWH.

1Corinthians Chapter 3

1Corinthians 3:15

15If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. (KJV)

You will suffer loss but still be saved.

1Corinthians 3:16

16Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? (KJV)

We are the temple of Elohim!

1Corinthians 3:17

17If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. (KJV)

This would seem to include smoking, obesity and adultery.

1Corinthians Chapter 4

1Corinthians 4:3-5

These verses talk about judging one another before the Messiah returns.

See Note on Judging:

1Corinthians Chapter 5

1Corinthians 5:8

8Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. (KJV)

This verse is saying we should keep the feast of Passover.

1Corinthians Chapter 6

1Corinthians 6:2-3

2Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

3Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? (KJV)

1Corinthians 6:19

19What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? (KJV)

Our bodies are gifts from God and not our own.

1Corinthians Chapter 7

1Corinthians Chapter 8

1Corinthians Chapter 9

1Corinthians Chapter 10

1Corinthians 10:4

4And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. (KJV)

A reference to the Messiah in the TeNaKh.
It was Yahushua which led the children of Israel out of Egypt.

1Corinthians Chapter 11

1Corinthians Chapter 11:4

4Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. (KJV)

Is this verse saying that men should not have their head covered when praying or prophesying?

1Corinthians Chapter 11:5-6

5But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.

6For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. (KJV)

This verse seems to be saying that women should have their head covered when praying or prophesying.

1Corinthians Chapter 11:24

24And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. (KJV)

Is this a covenant ceremony?

1Corinthians Chapter 12

1Corinthians 12:13

13For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. (KJV)

The word Greek was used but translated to Gentile.

Gentiles/Greeks - from Hellas 1671; a Hellen (Grecian) or inhabitant of Hellas; by extension a Greek-speaking person, especially a non-Jew:-- Gentile, Greek.; (1671) - of uncertain affinity; Hellas (or Greece), a country of Europe:--Greece.

1Corinthians Chapter 13

1Corinthians Chapter 14

1Corinthians Chapter 14:22

22Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe. (KJV)

Interesting, tongues are for non believers and prophesy is for believers.
I think tongues is not about speaking jibberish but actually speaking another language that someone else understands.

1Corinthians Chapter 15

Soul and spirit.  Natural and supernatural.

1Corinthians 15:45

45And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. (KJV)

Soul and spirit

1Corinthians 15:46

46Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. (KJV)

First the natural, then the supernatural.

1Corinthians Chapter 16

1Corinthians 16:1-3

With regard to:
