"3The word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him."(KJV)

Ezekiel was a priest and the son of Buzi. Does this mean that Ezekiel was a Levite?

This book was obviously written after the accounts of Noah/Noah, Daniel/Kani'ĕl and Job/Iyob.

I need to research this.  Where did Abraham come from? Who was in Jerusalem/Yerushalayim before the Hebrews?

Ezekiel 16:8

8Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine.(KJV)

Is this referring to sacrifices to Molek?

Ezekiel 16:31

31In that thou buildest thine eminent place in the head of every way, and makest thine high place in every street; and hast not been as an harlot, in that thou scornest hire;(KJV)

Pretty harsh words here.  YHWH is calling them worse than a whore because they gave themselves away for free and didn't even charge for their whoring.

44Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use this proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.(KJV)

Ezekiel Chapter 17

Ezekiel Chapter 17

The eagles and the cedar

YHWH speaks a riddle unto the house of Israel.

The word covenant is used six (6) times.

The Babylonian king comes to Jerusalem and exiles the Hebrew kingdom.

Ezekiel 17:5

"5He took also of the seed of the land, and planted it in a fruitful field; he placed it by great waters, and set it as a willow tree."(KJV)

Symbology? water, willow tree

Ezekiel 17:12

"12Say now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these things mean? tell them, Behold, the king of Babylon is come to Jerusalem, and hath taken the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and led them with him to Babylon;"(KJV)

The Babylonian king coming to Jerusalem and taking the Hebrew kingdom to exile.

Ezekiel 17:13-19

13And hath taken of the king's seed, and made a covenant with him, and hath taken an oath of him: he hath also taken the mighty of the land:

The word covenant is used six (6) times.
I think the phrase, 'taken of the king's seed' means they took the king's daughters as wives as the daughter is the seed of the house in Hebrew culture. The Hebrew word for daughter is 'bat', or the Beit Tav, or the house seed, or as it is read in Hebrew, the seed of the house.

Ezekiel 17:24

And all the trees of the field shall know that I the LORD have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have spoken and have done it.(KJV)

YHWH says that HE has brought down the high tree, exalted the low tree, dried up the green tree and made the dry tree to flourish.

Ezekiel Chapter 18

Ezekiel 18

The sinning soul shall die

This chapter deals with sin and righteousness.

YHWH says that if a child turns from the sins of his father and walks in HIS instructions, that child will NOT inherit the sins of the father.

YHWH says that HE takes NO pleasure in the death of the wicked.

Ezekiel 18:4

'Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.'(KJV)

All souls belong to YHWH.  If a soul sins, that soul dies.

Ezekiel 18:16

"16Neither hath oppressed any, hath not withholden the pledge, neither hath spoiled by violence, but hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment,"(KJV)

What is 'the pledge'?

Ezekiel Chapter 19

Ezekiel Chapter 20

Ezekiel 20:1-3

1And it came to pass in the seventh year, in the fifth month, the tenth day of the month, that certain of the elders of Israel came to enquire of the LORD, and sat before me.(KJV)

2Then came the word of the LORD unto me, saying,(KJV)

3Son of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye come to enquire of me? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by you. (KJV)

In The 7th year, the 5th moon, the 10th day, certain elders of Israel came to enquire of YHWH.

YHWH said HE would not be inquired of by them.

Which seventh (7th) year?

The 7th Year, the 5th Moon, the 10th Day

Ezekiel 20:4

4Wilt thou judge them, son of man, wilt thou judge them? cause them to know the abominations of their fathers: (KJV)

Translation Difference

"4Judge them, son of man, judge them! Make known to them the abominations of their fathers."(The ISR Scriptures)

Interesting to note that while in the KJV, YHWH is asking a question, in other translations, YHWH is making a declarative statement.

Judging Keys

Ezekiel 20:4-8

4Wilt thou judge them, son of man, wilt thou judge them? cause them to know the abominations of their fathers: (KJV)

5And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when I chose Israel, and lifted up mine hand unto the seed of the house of Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted up mine hand unto them, saying, I am the LORD your God; (KJV)

6In the day that I lifted up mine hand unto them, to bring them forth of the land of Egypt into a land that I had espied for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands: (KJV)

7Then said I unto them, Cast ye away every man the abominations of his eyes, and defile not yourselves with the idols of Egypt: I am the LORD your God. (KJV)

8But they rebelled against me, and would not hearken unto me: they did not every man cast away the abominations of their eyes, neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt: then I said, I will pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt. (KJV)

YHWH recalls how HE told them that HE was Elohim and that HE was going to bring them to a land flowing with milk and honey and how HE told them to throw away their idols but that they rebelled against HIM.

YHWH explains that HE was going to take out HIS wrath against them right there but for the sake of HIS name HE decided not to have HIS name profaned in from ot the gentiles so HE decided to take them out of the land of Egypt first.

Ezekiel 20:5

"5And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when I chose Israel, and lifted up mine hand unto the seed of the house of Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted up mine hand unto them, saying, I am the LORD your God; "(KJV)

YHWH is the Elohim of everyone, not just the Hebrews and he is going to make this known to the entire world.

Ezekiel 20:12-13

"12Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them. "(KJV)

"13But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they walked not in my statutes, and they despised my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; and my sabbaths they greatly polluted: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them."(KJV)

The Sabbath was given as a sign between YHWH and his people.

Ezekiel 20:15

"15Yet also I lifted up my hand unto them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands;"(KJV)

YHWH recounts how HE would not bring the people into the land he promised since they disobeyed him.

Ezekiel 20:16

"16Because they despised my judgments, and walked not in my statutes, but polluted my sabbaths: for their heart went after their idols."(KJV)

YHWH's statutes and judgments.

Ezekiel 20:20-21

"21Notwithstanding the children rebelled against me: they walked not in my statutes, neither kept my judgments to do them, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; they polluted my sabbaths: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness."(KJV)

The children did not walk in his statutes, nor did they keep HIS judgements, and they polluted HIS Sabbaths.

Ezekiel 20:24

"24Because they had not executed my judgments, but had despised my statutes, and had polluted my sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers' idols."(KJV)

They burned their first born.

Ezekiel 20:31

"31For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day: and shall I be enquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by you."(KJV)

They burned their sons.

Ezekiel 20:37

"37And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant:"(KJV)

They will be made to obey.  Covenant

Ezekiel 20:40

The sacrificial/offering system will be in place.

Ezekiel Chapter 21

Ezekiel Chapter 22

Ezekiel Chapter 22

This entire chapter seems to be describing modern day Israel and Christianity in general. YHWH clearly addresses his dislike for dishonest gain and oppressive regimes.

Interesting to note how Ezekiel had no problem speaking out against the priests, prophets, and people who were doing evil. Did that make him anti-Semitic?

Ezekiel 22:25-30

25There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof.(KJV)

Conspiracy of the prophets within the camp.

26Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.(KJV)

27Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain.(KJV)

28And her prophets have daubed them with untempered morter, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith the Lord GOD, when the LORD hath not spoken.(KJV)

29The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully.(KJV)

30And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.(KJV)

Ezekiel Chapter 23

Ezekiel 23

Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her sister.

Playing the harlot.

Ezekiel 23:38

"38Moreover this they have done unto me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my sabbaths."(KJV)

Profaned sabbaths.

Ezekiel 23:39

"39For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and, lo, thus have they done in the midst of mine house."(KJV)

Child sacrifice

"24Thus Ezekiel is unto you a sign: according to all that he hath done shall ye do: and when this cometh, ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD."(KJV)

A sign to us.

Ezekiel 24:27

"27In that day shall thy mouth be opened to him which is escaped, and thou shalt speak, and be no more dumb: and thou shalt be a sign unto them; and they shall know that I am the LORD."(KJV)

A sign to us.

Ezekiel Chapter 25

Ezekiel Chapter 26

Ezekiel 26

YHWH is prophesing against Tyrus.

Ezekiel 26:3

"3Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Tyrus, and will cause many nations to come up against thee, as the sea causeth his waves to come up."(KJV)

This verse seems to be saying that people are not to take advantage of the children of Israel or the promised land even if YHWH is punishing HIS people.

Ezekiel 26:19

"19For thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall make thee a desolate city, like the cities that are not inhabited; when I shall bring up the deep upon thee, and great waters shall cover thee;"(KJV)

Is this a description of an earthquake and tidal wave which destroys Tyrus/Tyre/Tsor?

Ezekiel 26:20

"20When I shall bring thee down with them that descend into the pit, with the people of old time, and shall set thee in the low parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with them that go down to the pit, that thou be not inhabited; and I shall set glory in the land of the living;"(KJV)

Is this hell or is it the place where the fallen angels are bound in chains awaiting judgement day?  2 Peter 2:4

Ezekiel Chapter 27

Ezekiel 27:2

"2Now, thou son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyrus;"(KJV)

A lamentation for Tyrus

Ezekiel 27:27

"27Thy riches, and thy fairs, thy merchandise, thy mariners, and thy pilots, thy calkers, and the occupiers of thy merchandise, and all thy men of war, that are in thee, and in all thy company which is in the midst of thee, shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of thy ruin."(KJV)

Sounds like an earthquake with a tidal wave.

Ezekiel Chapter 28

Ezekiel 28

"1The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,"(KJV)

YHWH spoke to Ezekiel (in a dream?).

Ezekiel Chapter 29

Ezekiel Chapter 29

The house of Israel/Yisr'ĕl

Ezekiel 29:10

"10Behold, therefore I am against thee, and against thy rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from the tower of Syene even unto the border of Ethiopia."(KJV)

Where is the tower of Syene?

Ezekiel 29:17

"17And it came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first month, in the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,"(KJV)

01/01/27

Ezekiel Chapter 32

Ezekiel Chapter 32

The lament for Pharoah

I need to find out what year these events took place or if they are to take place in the future.  Is this chapter referring to the End of Days?

The countries that will fall are Asshur, Elam, Egypt, Meshech, Tubal, Edom, Zidonians and the Pharoah.

Ezekiel 32:2

"2Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou art like a young lion of the nations, and thou art as a whale in the seas: and thou camest forth with thy rivers, and troubledst the waters with thy feet, and fouledst their rivers."(KJV)

A lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt.

Ezekiel 32:7

"And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light."(KJV)

Ezekiel 32:9

"I will also vex the hearts of many people, when I shall bring thy destruction among the nations, into the countries which thou hast not known."(KJV)

This verse could be indicating future times.

Ezekiel 32:19

Reference is made to the uncircumcised. Does this mean non-covenant?

Ezekiel 32:21

Reference is made to the uncircumcised. Does this mean non-covenant?

Ezekiel 32:24-30

Reference is made to the uncircumcised. Does this mean non-covenant?

Ezekiel 32:32

Ezekiel Chapter 33

Ezekiel 33

Ezekiel a watchman/Jerusalem's fall

These verses are very similar to Ezekiel 3:17-21.

If we do NOT warn the wicked, even though they perish, they're blood will be on our hands.

Ezekiel 33:11

"11Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?"(KJV)

YHWH has no pleasue in the death of the wicked.

Ezekiel Chapter 34

Ezekiel 34

Israel's shepherds

YHWH will be against the teachers in the last days.

According to the words in this chapter:

  1. YHWH HIMSELF will bring HIS people back to the land,
  2. YHWH HIMSELF will judge between the fat cattle and the lean cattle,
  3. YHWH HIMSELF will set up one shephard over them,
  4. they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid,
  5. YHWH will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen any more.

Ezekiel 34:2

"2Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?"(KJV)

"'Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?'"

Ezekiel 34:4

"4The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them."(KJV)

You have not strengthened the weak, nor have you healed the sick, nor bound up the broken, nor sought what was lost; but you have ruled them with might and harshness.

Ezekiel 34:9

"9Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD;"(KJV)

Translation Difference

"9therefore, O shepherds, hear the word of YHWH!"(The ISR Scriptures)

Ezekiel 34:10

"10Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them."(KJV)

Translation Difference

"10'Thus said the Master YHWH, "See, I am against the shepherds, and shall require My flock at their hand, and shall make them cease feeding the sheep, and the shepherds shall feed themselves no more. And I shall deliver My flock from their mouths, and they shall no longer be food for them.""(The ISR Scriptures)

Ezekiel 34:11

"11For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out."(KJV)

Translation Difference

"11'For thus said the Master YHWH, "See, I Myself shall search for My sheep and seek them out."(The ISR Scriptures)

Ezekiel 34:23

"23And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd."(KJV)

I need to find out if this is a reference to the Messiah.

Ezekiel 34:25

"25And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods."(KJV)

A covenant of peace.
Is this End of Days?

Ezekiel Chapter 35

Ezekiel Chapter 36

Ezekiel 36

A prophecy to Israel
The return of the people to the land is detailed.

Ezekiel 36:7

7Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I have lifted up mine hand, Surely the heathen that are about you, they shall bear their shame.(KJV)

It does not say when this is going to happen.

Ezekiel 36:8

8But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come.(KJV)

Who are 'they at hand to come'?

Ezekiel 36:10

"10And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the wastes shall be builded:"(KJV)

This verse speaks of ALL the house of Israel (not just the Jews).

Ezekiel 36:12

12Yea, I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth bereave them of men.(KJV)

Doesn't this mean that the 10 northern tribes from the House of Israel will return to possess the land?
Currently, no one but DNA Jews can own land in Israel.

Ezekiel 36:14

14Therefore thou shalt devour men no more, neither bereave thy nations any more, saith the Lord GOD.(KJV)

Doesn't this mean peace and not war?

Ezekiel 36:17-19

YHWH dispersed the people through the countries because of what they did wrong. These verses explain what the house of Israel had done wrong and why they were punished with exile from the land.

Ezekiel 36:18

18Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and for their idols wherewith they had polluted it:(KJV)

This is why the House of Israel was driven from the land.

Ezekiel 36:23-28

"27And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them."(KJV)

  • 23 - The heathen will know who YHWH is when HE is santified before the eyes of HIS people.
  • 24 - YHWH will take HIS people from among the heathen and gather them out of all countries and bring them into their own land.
  • 25 - YHWH's people will be cleansed of all their filthiness and idols.
  • 27 - YHWH will cause HIS people to walk in HIS statutes and judgements.

Ezekiel 36:27 - HE puts his spirit within us in order to cause us to obey.

Ezekiel 36:24

24For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.(KJV)

This says that YHWH will gather us our of all our countries and bring us into our own land.

Ezekiel 36:28

28And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.(KJV)

This says that the House of Israel will return.

Ezekiel 36:31

31Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.(KJV)

According to this verse, after YHWH returns HIS people to the land, the children of Israel will hate themselves for what they have done in the past.

I certainly don't see this happening today. The Israeli Government is filled with pride.

Ezekiel 36:33

33Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded.(KJV)

Have the people been cleansed of all their iniquities?

Ezekiel 36:35

35And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.(KJV)

Is this why the Israeli government is building a wall?

Ezekiel Chapter 37

Ezekiel 37

Vision of dry bones
Parable of the two sticks

Ezekiel 37:1

"1The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,"(KJV)

Ezekiel/Yehezqĕl has a vision in a valley of bones.

Ezekiel 37:2-10

""(KJV)

YHWH brings the bones in the valley to life.

Ezekiel 37:11-14

"11Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts."(KJV)

"12Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel."(KJV)

"13And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,"(KJV)

"14And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD."(KJV)

YHWH tells Ezekiel/Yehezqĕl that HE will open the graves of HIS people, put HIS spirit in them and place them in their own land.

This seems to be a pretty clear marker of the events that will transpire when then the Messiah returns.

After YHWH raises people from their graves, HE will restore them to the land.

Ezekiel 37:16-22

""(KJV)

YHWH tells Ezekiel/Yehezqĕl that HE will take two sticks representing the two houses of Israel and join them.

Ezekiel 37:16

"16Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and for all the house of Israel his companions:"(KJV)

YHWH says that the children of Israel will be Judah's companions and the house of Israel will be Ephraim's companions.
Could this explain YAHUSHUA's statement in:
Matthew 16:24-26
Luke 9:23

Ezekiel 37:19

"19Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand."(KJV)

YHWH says that the stick of Joseph is in Ephriam's hand but doesn't say in whose hand the stick of Judah exists.

Possesion of the "stick" indicates Ephraim's headship over the tribe of Joseph, because the Father had instructed Moses, "Speak to the sons of Israel, and get from them a rod for each father's household: twelve rods...You shall writer each name on his rod...one rod for the head of each of their father's households (Numbers 17:2-3). The stick, or rod, serves as the symbol of family leadership 33 and Ephraim holds Joseph's rod.

33 - Stick/Rod: matteh, means staff or rod. TWOT # 1352.

Redeemed Israel Reunited and Restored by Batya Ruth Wootten 2006, p 23c

Ezekiel 37:21

"21And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:"(KJV)

This verse seems to indicate that YHWH will take the children of the 10 lost tribes which were dispersed by the Assyrians and bring them back to the land of Israel/Yisr'ĕl.

Ezekiel 37:22

"22And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all."(KJV)

According to this verse, when the children of Israel return to the land, they will have one king and will no longer be divided. This does not seem to be what has happened with the Zionist movement.

Ezekiel 37:23-25

""(KJV)

YHWH tells Ezekiel/Yehezqĕl that HE will cleanse the people and that David will be their king.

Ezekiel 37:25

"25And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever."(KJV)

These verses seem to indicate that after YHWH/YAHUSHUA returns as King and the children of Israel/Yisr'ĕl have been cleansed of their sin, then they will dwell in the land.

Ezekiel 37:26

"26Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore."(KJV)

YHWH tells Ezekiel/Yehezqĕl that HE will make an everlasting covenant of peace with them.

This is a key indicator of when this prophecy has come true. When YHWH's santuary is in the midst of the children of Israel/Yisr'ĕl for evermore.

Ezekiel 37:27

"27My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people."(KJV)

YHWH tells Ezekiel/Yehezqĕl that HIS tabernacle will be with them.

Ezekiel 37:28

"28And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore."(KJV)

YHWH tells Ezekiel/Yehezqĕl that the heathen shall know that HE has sanctified Israel when his sanctuary is in their midst forever more.

Ezekiel Chapter 38

Ezekiel 38

Prophecy against Gog

I am not sure if this chapter is referring to pre-millenial reign of Messiah or post. Is this the battle of Armageddon or the battle of Gog & Magog?

Ezekiel 38:2

The land of Magog is mentioned.

Ezekiel 38:4

"And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:"(KJV)

What is meant by the phrase "hooks in their jaws"?

Ezekiel 38:10-11

10Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:(KJV)

11And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,(KJV)

The same Hebrew word that is translated here as safely (hetach H), is translated as carelessly in Ezekiel 39:6. This verse could be referring to a defenseless land or to a land where people have neglected their defenses.
I wonder if this verse is referring to the European Jews invading the land of Palestine.

Ezekiel 38:15

"15And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:"(KJV)

The armies of the North coming against the holy land.

Ezekiel 38:17

"17Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?"(KJV)

YHWH is saying that these events have been spoken of before by the prophets of Israel who existed before Ezekiel.

Ezekiel Chapter 39

Ezekiel 39

Prophecy against Gog

Gog and Magog are mentioned.

This chapter could be detailing the destruction of the Zionists.

Ezekiel 39:2

2And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:(KJV)

One sixth 1/6th of the ? of Gog will be come from the North and be brought to the mountains of Israel/Yisr'ĕl

Ezekiel 39:3

3And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.(KJV)

YHWH will disarm the ? of Gog.

Will YHWH do this or cause it to be done by someone/something else?

Ezekiel 39:4

4Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.(KJV)

YHWH will destroy all the people of Gog.

Ezekiel 39:6

"6And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD."(KJV)

This verse could be referring to a defenseless land or to a land where people have neglected their defenses.

YHWH will send a fire on Magog and them that dwell carelessly in the isles.

The same Hebrew word that is translated here as carelessly (hetach H), is translated as safely in Ezekiel 38:11.

Who are the people that dwell carelessly in the isles?

Ezekiel 39:7

"7So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel."(KJV)

Translation Difference

""And I shall make My set-apart Name known in the midst of My people Yisra'ĕl, and not let My set-apart Name be profaned any more. And the gentiles shall know thatI am YHWH, the Set-apart One in Yisra'ĕl."(The ISR Scriptures)

"So will I make My kadosh Name known in the midst of My people Yisrael; and I will not let them defile My kadosh Name any more: and the gentiles shall know that I am YHWH, the Kadosh-One in Yisrael. 2629(The ISR Scriptures)

2629 The ultimate purpose of the battle of Gog and Magog is to preserve Yisrael in kingdom glory, reestablish YHWH's true Name among his people Yisrael, and introduce it to the nations, to some even for the very first time.

YHWH says he is the Holy One IN Israel/Yisr'ĕl not the Holy one OF Israel/Yisr'ĕl.

The importance of YHWH's name.

Ezekiel 39:8

"8Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof I have spoken."(KJV)

Is this the day of the LORD?

Ezekiel 39:9

"9And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:"(KJV)

In this verse YHWH says the people that dwell in the cities Israel/Yisr'ĕl will set fire to the weapons of war.

HE also states that this will last for seven (7) years.

Ezekiel 39:11

"11And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamongog."(KJV)

The valley of Hamongog is named.

Is YAH saying that the dead bodies will stink?

Ezekiel 39:12

"12And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land."(KJV)

It will take seven (7) months to bury the dead and cleanse the land.
It will take the house of Israel/Yisr'ĕl seven (7) months to bury all the bodies.

Ezekiel 39:13

"13Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord GOD."(KJV)

Will the people of the land make this a holiday or holy day?

Ezekiel 39:14

"14And they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search."(KJV)

There will be a cleansing.

Ezekiel 39:15

"15And the passengers that pass through the land, when any seeth a man's bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamongog."(KJV)

Passengers in the land will mark the bones to be buried in Hamongog.

Ezekiel 39:17

"17And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood."(KJV)

The birds of the air will feast on the dead bodies.

Ezekiel 39:20

"20Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD."(KJV)

Will YHWH sacrifice all men of war?

Ezekiel 39:22

"22So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward."(KJV)

The house of Israel will know that YHWH is their Elohim from that day forward.
Obviously the house Israel/Yisr'ĕl of didn't know that YHWH was the lord their Elohim.
Could this be a reference to Muslims?

Ezekiel 39:23

"23And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword."(KJV)

Did YHWH destroy all the existing house of Israel/Yisr'ĕl like he did during the forty (40) years in the desert?

Ezekiel 39:25

"25Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;"(KJV)

What is the captivity of Jacob/Ya'aqob?

Ezekiel 39:26

"26After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid."(KJV)

Is YHWH talking about the United States or the house of Judah/Yahudah in this verse?

Ezekiel 39:27

"27When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;"(KJV)

YHWH is talking about the house of Israel/Yisr'ĕl in this passage and not the house of Judah/Yahudah.

Ezekiel 39:28

"28Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there."(KJV)

Since there are still Jews all over the world does this mean that the modern Jews and Israelis are not the people being referred to here?

Ezekiel 39:29

"29Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD."(KJV)

YHWH will pour out HIS spirit on the house of Israel/Yisr'ĕl.

Ezekiel Chapter 40

Ezekiel 40

New temple arrangements
Location and size of gates
The porch
The beginning of a vision by Ezekiel.
This chapter seems to be referring to a temple. Since the priests are there, does this refer to Jerusalem?
The time of the Third Temple.

Ezekiel 40:1

"1In the five and twentieth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after that the city was smitten, in the selfsame day the hand of the LORD was upon me, and brought me thither."(KJV)

01/10/11 Fourteen (14) years before.
01/10/25
01/10/39 Fourteen (14) years later.

Ezekiel 40:3

"3And he brought me thither, and, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate."(KJV)

What is the significance of the line of flax and the measuring reed?

Ezekiel 40:5

"5And behold a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man's hand a measuring reed of six cubits long by the cubit and an hand breadth: so he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed."(KJV)

cubit/cubit - measure of length; equal to 1.5 feet or 18 inches

Ezekiel 43:7

"7And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places."(KJV)

HE is talking about the place where HE will be when HE returns.

Ezekiel 43:11

"And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them."(KJV)

Translation Difference

'And if they are ashamed of all that they have done, show them the design of the Bayit, and the structure of it, and the exits, and the entrances, and all the designs of it, and all the mishpatim of it, and all its Torot: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole design of it, and all the mishpatim of it, and do them.'(The Restoration Scriptures)

'And since they shall be ashamed of all that they did, make known to them the design of the House and its stucture and its exits and its entrances, its entire deisgn and all its laws and all its forms and all its Torot. And wirte it down before their eyes, so that they observe its entire design and all its laws and shall do them.(The Besorah Of Yahusha)

Ezekiel Chapter 44

Ezekiel 44

The use of the temple

Ezekiel 44:7

"7In that ye have brought into my sanctuary strangers, uncircumcised in heart, and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary, to pollute it, even my house, when ye offer my bread, the fat and the blood, and they have broken my covenant because of all your abominations."(KJV)

covenant

Ezekiel 44:23

"And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean."(KJV)

Translation Difference

""And they are to teach My people the difference between the set-apart and the profane, and make them know what is unclean and clean."(The ISR Scriptures)

"And they shall teach My people the difference between the kadosh and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean. 2657"(The Restoration Scriptures)

2657 - If you love Yahshua, and are willing to learn that, you will surely walk as Yisrael.

Holy/qadash - (H6942) - kaw-dash' a primitive root; to be (causatively, make, pronounce or observe as) clean (ceremonially or morally):--appoint, bid, consecrate, dedicate, defile, hallow, (be, keep) holy(-er, place), keep, prepare, proclaim, purify, sanctify(-ied one, self), X wholly.

Profane/ - (H2455) - from 'chalal' (2490); properly, exposed; hence, profane:--common, profane (place), unholy.; (2490) - a primitive root (compare 'chalah' (2470)); properly, to bore, i.e. (by implication) to wound, to dissolve; figuratively, to profane (a person, place or thing), to break (one's word), to begin (as if by an "opening wedge"); denom. (from 'chaliyl' (2485)) to play (the flute):--begin (X men began), defile, X break, defile, X eat (as common things), X first, X gather the grape thereof, X take inheritance, pipe, player on instruments, pollute, (cast as) profane (self), prostitute, slay (slain), sorrow, stain, wound.

Ezekiel 44:24

"And in controversy they shall stand in judgment; and they shall judge it according to my judgments: and they shall keep my laws and my statutes in all mine assemblies; and they shall hallow my sabbaths."(KJV)

Translation Difference

""And they are to stand as judges in a dispute, and judge it according to My right-rulings. And they are to guard My Torot and My laws in all My appointed festivals, and set apart My Sabbaths."(The ISR Scriptures)

"And in a dispute they shall stand in mishpat; and they shall judge according to My mishpatim: and they shall keep My Torot and My mishpatim in all My moadim; and they shall set-apart My Shabbats."(The Restoration Scriptures)

mishpat - (judgment)

mishpatim - (judgments); (H) Judgments, Or Right-Rulings That Make Perfect Sense; Judgments (Hebrew mishpatim) are the opposite of a Statute (chok), a law given for a specified reason. It has a logic behind it that can be ascertained and thus used for further application of Torah. An example of judgments are the Sabbath laws, which were given because "God created the world in six days, but on the seventh day He rested".

mo'adim - (fixed times/seasons/festivals)

Ezekiel 44:26

"26And after he is cleansed, they shall reckon unto him seven days."(KJV)

Seven (7) days?

Ezekiel Chapter 45

Ezekiel 45

Division of the land
Laws about offerings

Ezekiel 45:8

8"In the land shall be his possession in Israel: and my princes shall no more oppress my people; and the rest of the land shall they give to the house of Israel according to their tribes."(KJV)

Translation Difference

"Of the land this is his possession in Yisr'ĕl and My princes shall no longer oppress My people. And they shall give the land to the house of Yisr'ĕl, according to their tribes."(The Besorah Of Yahusha)

"Of the land this is his possession in Yisra'el, and My princes shall no longer oppress My people. And they shall give the land to the house of Yisra'el, according to their tribes."(The ISR Scriptures)

"In the land shall be His possession in Yisrael: and My leaders shall no more oppress My people; and the rest of the land they shall give to Beit Yisrael according to their tribes."(The Restoration Scriptures)

YHWH says HIS princes shall no longer oppress HIS people. Obviously the leaders were oppressing their people.

Ezekiel 45:9

9"Thus saith the Lord GOD; Let it suffice you, O princes of Israel: remove violence and spoil, and execute judgment and justice, take away your exactions from my people, saith the Lord GOD."(KJV)

Translation Difference

"Thus siad the Master YHWH, Enough, you princes of Yisr'ĕl! Put away violence and plundering and do right-ruling and righteousness and stop your evictions aof My people," declares the Master YHWH."(The Besorah Of Yahusha)

"Thus said the Master Yahweh, “Enough, you princes of Yisra'el! Put away violence and plundering, and do right-ruling and righteousness, and stop your evictions of My people,?? declares the Master Yahweh.'(The ISR Scriptures)

"This says the Master YHWH; Let it suffice you, O leaders of Yisrael: remove violence and plundering, and execute mishpat and justice, take away your oppressions from My people, says the Master vuvh.'(The Restoration Scriptures)

"exactions from my people"... Does this mean taxes?

Ezekiel 45:22

22"And upon that day shall the prince prepare for himself and for all the people of the land a bullock for a sin offering."(KJV)

This cannot be Yeshua, because Yeshua was without sin, however, I need to learn more about the sin offering and the animal being offered as this might change the meaning of the offering.  Further, Ezekiel goes on to tell us that this prince will have sons. (Ezekiel 46:16)

Translation Difference

"And on that day the prince shall prepare for himself and for all the people of the land a bull for a sin offering."(The ISR Scriptures)

"And upon that day shall the Nasi 2662 prepare for Himself and for all the people of the land a bull for a sin offering."(The Restoration Scriptures)

2662 - They became consecrated Yisraelites by choice, not by manmade conversion regulations.

Nasi - The Messiah In A Millennial Context; (H 5387) - or nasi8 {naw-see'}; from 'nasa'' (5375); properly, an exalted one, i.e. a king or sheik; also a rising mist:--captain, chief, cloud, governor, prince, ruler, vapour.

Ezekiel Chapter 46

Ezekiel 46

Laws about offerings

Ezekiel 46:1

"1Thus saith the Lord GOD; The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened."(KJV)

In this verse, the weekly Sabbaths are clearly distinct from the New Moon.

Ezekiel 46:18

"18Moreover the prince shall not take of the people's inheritance by oppression, to thrust them out of their possession; but he shall give his sons inheritance out of his own possession: that my people be not scattered every man from his possession."(KJV)

YHWH has to tell the princes not to oppress the people.

Ezekiel Chapter 47

Ezekiel 47

The river from the temple
The borders of the land

Ezekiel 47:8-21

YHWH tells Ezekiel/Yehezqĕl how the land is to be divided.

Ezekiel 47:12

"12And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine."(KJV)

Translation Difference

12'And by the stream upon the banks of it, on this side and on that side, shall grow all eytzim for food, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit of it be consumed: it shall bring out new fruit according to its months, because the mayim came out of the Kadosh-Place: and its fruit shall be for food, and its leaves for medicine.(The Restoration Scriptures)

Ezekiel 47:13

13Thus saith the Lord GOD; This shall be the border, whereby ye shall inherit the land according to the twelve tribes of Israel: Joseph shall have two portions.(KJV)

YHWH tells Ezekiel/Yehezqĕl there is to be a double portion for the tribe of Joseph/Yosĕph.  I think this is for Ephraim/Ephrayim and one for Manasseh/Menashsheh.  Since the tribe of Levi/Lĕwi doesn't get a land inheritance, this would add up to twelve (12) portions.

Ezekiel 47:22

"22And it shall come to pass, that ye shall divide it by lot for an inheritance unto you, and to the strangers that sojourn among you, which shall beget children among you: and they shall be unto you as born in the country among the children of Israel; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel."(KJV)

YHWH tells Ezekiel/Yehezqĕl strangers that sojourn there and bear children are entitled to a land inheritance.

Strangers can claim a portion of the land as their inheritance also.

Translation Difference

"22And it shall come to pass, that you shall divide it by lot for an inheritance for yourselves, and to the foreigners that sojourn among you, which shall beget children among you: and they shall be to you as one born in the country among the children of Yisrael; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Yisrael."(The Restoration Scriptures)

Ezekiel 47:23

"23And it shall come to pass, that in what tribe the stranger sojourneth, there shall ye give him his inheritance, saith the Lord GOD."(KJV)

Strangers can claim a portion of the land as their inheritance also.

Translation Difference

'23And it shall come to pass, that in whatever tribe that the ger sojourns, there shall you give him his inheritance, says the Master YHWH.'  (Restoration Scriptures)

Ezekiel Chapter 48

Ezekiel 48

The division of the tribes
The name of the city
YHWH outlines the land inheritance among the tribes of Israel.

Ezekiel 48:31

"31And the gates of the city shall be after the names of the tribes of Israel: three gates northward; one gate of Reuben, one gate of Judah, one gate of Levi."(KJV)

The Levite/Lĕwite get a gate but the land they live on is part of the set-apart land of Jerusalem/Yerushalayim.
Gates 1,2, & 3

Ezekiel 48:32

"32And at the east side four thousand and five hundred: and three gates; and one gate of Joseph, one gate of Benjamin, one gate of Dan."(KJV)

Manasseh/Menashsheh and Ephraim/Ephrayim get land but the gate is named after Joseph/Yosĕph
Gates 4,5, & 6

Ezekiel 48:33

"33And at the south side four thousand and five hundred measures: and three gates; one gate of Simeon, one gate of Issachar, one gate of Zebulun."(KJV)

Gates 7,8, & 9

Ezekiel 48:34

"34At the west side four thousand and five hundred, with their three gates; one gate of Gad, one gate of Asher, one gate of Naphtali."(KJV)

Gates 10,11, & 12
