³'And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:' (KJV)

⁴'But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.' (KJV)

²'Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.' (KJV)

²⁰And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.(KJV)

⁵Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.(KJV)

¹⁶When they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between one and another, and I do make them know the statutes of God, and his laws. (KJV)

⁶And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. (KJV)

¹⁸Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety. (KJV)

⁴'Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.'

³²What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it. (KJV)

¹⁵But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee: (KJV)

¹These are the words of the covenant, which the LORD commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, beside the covenant which he made with them in Horeb.(KJV)

⁹Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do.(KJV)

³And keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself:(KJV)

⁴That the LORD may continue his word which he spake concerning me, saying, If thy children take heed to their way, to walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail thee (said he) a man on the throne of Israel.(KJV)

¹⁴And if thou wilt walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as thy father David did walk, then I will lengthen thy days.(KJV)

¹²Concerning this house which thou art in building, if thou wilt walk in my statutes, and execute my judgments, and keep all my commandments to walk in them; then will I perform my word with thee, which I spake unto David thy father:(KJV)

⁵⁸That he may incline our hearts unto him, to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and his statutes, and his judgments, which he commanded our fathers.(KJV)

And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments:

⁶But if ye shall at all turn from following me, ye or your children, and will not keep my commandments and my statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods, and worship them:

⁷Then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people:

⁸And at this house, which is high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and to this house?

⁹And they shall answer, Because they forsook the LORD their God, who brought forth their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and have taken hold upon other gods, and have worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath the LORD brought upon them all this evil. (KJV)

¹¹Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.(KJV)

²⁸'Then one of the priests whom they had carried away from Samaria came and dwelt in Bethel, and taught them how they should fear the LORD.' (KJV)

³⁴'Unto this day they do after the former manners: they fear not the LORD, neither do they after their statutes, or after their ordinances, or after the law and commandment which the LORD commanded the children of Jacob, whom he named Israel;' (KJV)

⁴For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;'

⁵Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.'

⁶Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;'

⁷Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.'

⁸The Lord GOD, which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him. '

²³'But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.'

³'And say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel; Cursed be the man that obeyeth not the words of this covenant, '

²³'Because ye have burned incense, and because ye have sinned against the LORD, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD, nor walked in his law, nor in his statutes, nor in his testimonies; therefore this evil is happened unto you, as at this day.'

¹⁰'Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.'

¹¹'This city shall not be your caldron, neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst thereof; but I will judge you in the border of Israel:'

¹¹'And ye shall know that I am the LORD: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you.'

¹⁹'I am the LORD your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them;'

²⁷'And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.'

⁴And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;

⁵We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments: (KJV)

⁶'For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.' (KJV)

⁴'Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.' (KJV)

⁷'The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.' (KJV)

⁸'The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.' (KJV)

¹⁷But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;(KJV)

¹⁸To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.(KJV)

⁵O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!(KJV)

⁶Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.(KJV)

Proverbs 6:23

Deuteronomy 8:3

¹⁶'The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.'

¹⁷'And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.'

¹⁸'Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.'

²⁸He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

²⁹Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? (KJV)

¹²'Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. (KJV)'

⁹For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.s(KJV)

³'And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.'

⁴'He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.'

⁴"Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law." (KJV)

²²'And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.'

²³'And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.'

²⁴'And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.'

² 'By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.'

¹⁷'And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.'

¹²'Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.'

Jude 1:3

¹⁴"Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city." (KJV)

Doing the commandments bring us blessings and give us the right to the tree of life and allow us to enter through the gates into the city.
