Introduction:

The original purpose of this page was to show where the disciples had made mistakes even in front of Master YAHUSHA and were therefore, not divine.
However, many Christians counter this argument with the statement 'they had not received the Holy Spirit yet'.

Scripture References:

16And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding? (KJV)

Right after telling them to "Hear and understand", in Matthew 15:10 YAHSHUA is surprised that they still do not understand.

9Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? (KJV)

YAHSHUA's disciples do not understand His message.

22Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.
23But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
24Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
25For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
26For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? (KJV)

Peter does not understand YAHSHUA's message.

33Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be offended because of thee, yet will I never be offended.
34Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.
35Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples. (KJV)

18And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him; (KJV)

YAHSHUA's disciples do not understand.

32And he spake that saying openly. And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him.
33But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men. (KJV)

13And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them.
14But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. (KJV)

The disciples rebuked the little children who were trying to come to YAHSHUA.

24And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest.

The disciples are arguing about which of them is the greatest. Sounds like pride and ego to me.

8'Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.'

37'Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake.'

38'Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.'

23'Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?'

His disciples misinterpreted what the Messiah had said.  This was AFTER they were filled with the holy spirit.
