INTRODUCTION:

The purpose of this page is to document Scriptural references to YHWH's fairness and justice with ALL the people of the earth.
It seems to me, that in America, Christians believe they are destined to go through life without any hardship or rebuke and that all of their actions are somehow magically forgiven if they believe in the Messiah.
Scripture clearly shows us when we have gone wrong, how we have gone wrong, and the discipline that awaits us.

SCRIPTURE REFERENCES:

9'Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.' (KJV)

YHWH treats all mankind with fairness and justice.

6'And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,' (KJV)

7'Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.' (KJV)

18'The LORD is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.' (KJV)

14'Thou shalt not oppress an hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates:' (KJV)

17'Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the stranger, nor of the fatherless; nor take a widow's raiment to pledge:' (KJV)

14For we must needs die, and are as water spilt on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again; neither doth God respect any person: yet doth he devise means, that his banished be not expelled from him. (KJV)

YHWH does not respect any person but HE does provide us a means to get back to HIS salvation.

'8And at this house, which is high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and to this house? ' (KJV)

'9And they shall answer, Because they forsook the LORD their God, who brought forth their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and have taken hold upon other gods, and have worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath the LORD brought upon them all this evil. ' (KJV)

If we forsake YHWH, isn't it fair for HIM to forsake us?

17"Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people." (KJV)

'22And if thou say in thine heart, Wherefore come these things upon me? For the greatness of thine iniquity are thy skirts discovered, and thy heels made bare.' (KJV)

'23Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil.' (KJV)

'24Therefore will I scatter them as the stubble that passeth away by the wind of the wilderness.' (KJV)

'25This is thy lot, the portion of thy measures from me, saith the LORD; because thou hast forgotten me, and trusted in falsehood.' (KJV)

'26Therefore will I discover thy skirts upon thy face, that thy shame may appear.' (KJV)

'27I have seen thine adulteries, and thy neighings, the lewdness of thy whoredom, and thine abominations on the hills in the fields. Woe unto thee, O Jerusalem! wilt thou not be made clean? when shall it once be?' (KJV)

YHWH will not punish us because we do not deserve it. HE will punish us because of the things we have done.

'10And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath the LORD pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the LORD our God?' (KJV)

'11Then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the LORD, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law;' (KJV)

'12And ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me:' (KJV)

YHWH will not punish us because we do not deserve it. HE will punish us because we ignored HIM and HIS instructions for life.

'10And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.' (KJV)

When the people repented and obeyed, YHWH was merciful.
