INTRODUCTION:
The purpose of this page is to show, with Scriptural references, the desire of YHWH for HIS people to be honest and truthful in all areas of their life. This is a subset of the 9th Commandment. (Exodus 20:16)

We are supposed to answer honestly and not just 'soothe their itchy ears'.

leasing/ - (H3577) - from 'kazab' (3576); falsehood; literally (untruth) or figuratively (idol):--deceitful, false, leasing, + liar, lie, lying.; (H3576) - a primitive root; to lie (i.e. deceive), literally or figuratively:--fail, (be found a, make a) liar, lie, lying, be in vain.
