INTRODUCTION:

Two common claims made by members of the modern Christian faith are:

"The Law has been done away with and we are now saved by grace."

and

"The Law was nailed to the cross when the Messiah was crucified."

I am going to attempt to explain these terms and show that the Law is still valid and binding on everyone in the world.

NOTES:

Historically, only two objects were nailed to the stake of crucifixion:

    the condemned person and

an inscription naming the crimes for which he was being punished.

SCRIPTURE REFERENCES:

21"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. " (KJV)

14"But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:" (KJV)

Paul is saying here that the TeNaKh is still relevant.
Paul makes a distinction between what is WRITTEN in the law.
This verse shows that Paul still believed all things which are written in the law and the prophets after the Messiah's crucifixion.

24"Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only." (KJV)

13"(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified." (KJV)

13'And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;' (KJV)

14'Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;' (KJV)

15'And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.' (KJV)
