INTRODUCTION:

Is it possible for a doctrine to teach that YAHUSHUA is The Annointed One and yet still masquerade a false doctrine? Yes it is possible, as I will explain:

In Matthew 24:5, The Messiah said:"Many shall come in my name, saying I am Christ; and shall deceive many."

Peter had received a revelation from the Father that YAHUSHUA is "The Annointed One" (Matthew 16:16).  This revelation became the very foundation upon which Jesus Christ built his church.  Jesus said concerning this 'revelation' that Peter had received:

Matthew 16:18:

"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." (KJV)

Jesus was saying here that the 'rock' or foundation of His church was this revelation that Peter had received, about him being the Christ.  Yet the Catholic Church misinterprets this verse and falsely teaches that Jesus had made Peter the 'rock' or foundation of his church, thus they build further on that deception and say that Peter was the first pope.  Peter had never even been to but rather he was called to preach to the Jews, while the apostle Paul was called to preach to the Romans and the gentiles.  The name Peter in Greek is 'petros' meaning pebble or little stone.  Jesus renamed him from Simon to Peter to signify that he was a little pebble being added to his 'foundation stone' which in Greek is translated 'petra'.  The word 'rock' here in this verse means 'foundation stone'.  That 'rock' or 'revelation' is that 'YAHUSHUA is The Annointed One' and the pebble was Peter being added to this foundation----his church.

One could accurately read this verse as Jesus saying to Peter: Simon Barjona, you are a little stone, (petros or Peter) and upon this foundation stone that I am the Christ(petra or rock) am building my church.

Here Jesus illustrates two different foundations:

Matthew 7:24-27

24 - "Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:" (KJV)

25 - "And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock." (KJV)

26 - "And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:" (KJV)

27 - "And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it." (KJV)

There is only ONE foundation that YAHUSHUA has built his true church on and that is the 'ROCK' or 'revelation' that says 'YAHUSHUA is The Annointed One'.  Any other foundation is a false foundation that will not stand in the Day of Judgment.  The Catholic Doctrine has undermined this very foundation of truth for which Jesus has built his ONE TRUE CHURCH upon.  That church is not a man-made visible organization with a label or a title known to man. The 'one true church' is the remnant of believers which will respond to the Holy Spirit's call: "Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues" - Revelation 18:4

1 Corinthians 3:10-11

10 - "According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon." (KJV)

11 - "For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ." (KJV)
