INTRODUCTION:
The purpose of this page is to document Scripture references relating to the words slave and servant. I currently believe these two words are not the same, nor are they interchangeble. This topic has been a keystone for me. It seems that modern ideas on the concept of slavery and servatude are different then they were 2,000 or more years ago.
My main points are:
- Servanthood is optional
- Servants know there Master's business whereas slaves do not.
