Introduction:

The purpose of this page is to discuss the falacy of the 'trinity doctrine' taught by Christian churches.

What I Discovered

Although the Christian church likes to proclaim the the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are one, Scripture does not support this false doctrine. To those that say the Jesus is God, I would ask, then who was He praying to, himself?

Scripture References:

3Thou shalt have no other gods before me. (KJV)

19God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?(KJV)

The Messiah frequently called Himself, the son of man.

35Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him.(KJV)

39Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.(KJV)

4Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:(KJV)

Translation Difference

4Hear, O Yisra'ĕl: YHWH our Elohim, YHWH is one!(The ISR Scriptures)

By taking away the name YHWH, the Christian church can now use the word 'God' to mean whatever the want.

60That all the people of the earth may know that the LORD is God, and that there is none else.(KJV)

8I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.(KJV)

10Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.(KJV)

There wasn't one before HIM and there won't be one after HIM.

11I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.(KJV)

Translation Difference

11I, I am YHWH, and besides Me there is no saviour.(The ISR Scriptures)

6Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.(KJV)

Translation Difference

6Thus said YHWH, Sovereign of Yisra'ĕl, and his Redeemer, YHWH of hosts, 'I am the First and I am the Last, besides Me there is no Elohim.(The ISR Scriptures)

The Messiah is the Redeemer.

8Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.(KJV)

11Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me. (KJV)

This verse says that YHWH is the Holy One of Israel but then it refers to His Maker! The only one that can be the Maker of the Holy one of Israel is God Almighty. This verse seems to be referring to the Messiah and it also seems to dispute the Trinity doctrine as even the Holy One of Israel has a Maker so He cannot be the same as the maker.

18For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.(KJV)

9Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,(KJV)

9And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.(KJV)

Another reference to only ONE God. If the Messiah is God, why don't they have the same name?

36But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. (KJV)

If the Messiah is God, why doesn't He know the day or the hour?

39And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. (KJV)

If the Messiah is God, who is he praying to?

42He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done. (KJV)

If the Messiah is God, who is he praying to?

18And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. (KJV)

How is this possible if the Messiah is God?

29And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: (KJV)

1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2The same was in the beginning with God.(KJV)

How can He be God and with God?

14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.(KJV)

It does NOT say that God was made flesh, it says the Word was.

19Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. (KJV)

20For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. (KJV)

How is this possible if the are the same?

10If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.(KJV)

This verse makes no sense if they are one in the same.

3And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.(KJV)

19Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.(KJV)

25To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.(KJV)

4As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one. (KJV)

6But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.(KJV)

The Messiah is Lord.

5For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;(KJV)

The Messiah is a mediator between YHWH and men.

8I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.(KJV)
