INTRODUCTION:

In this page, I went through the B'rit Hadasha and referenced all the verses where the Messiah made a declarative statement.

SCRIPTURE REFERENCES:

17'From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.'

11'Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.'

12'Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.'

16'Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.'

48'Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.'

1'Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.'

2'Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.'

3'But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:'

6'But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.'

7'But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.'

8'Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.'

9'After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.'

10'Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.'

10'Give us this day our daily bread.'

10'And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.'

10'And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.'

16'Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.'

17'But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;'

18'That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.'

19'Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:'

20'But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:'

25'Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?'

28'And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:'

31'Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?'

33'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.'

34'Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.'

26'But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;'

27'And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:'

28'Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. '

36'Master, which is the great commandment in the law?'

37'Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.'

38'This is the first and great commandment.'

39'And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.'

40'On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.'

4'And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.'

13'But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.'

15'When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)'

16'Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:'

17'Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:'

18'Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.'

23'Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.'

25'Behold, I have told you before.'

26'Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.'

32'Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:'

33'So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.'

42'Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.'

43'But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.'

44'Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.'

13'Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. '

40'And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.'

45'Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.'

12'And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation.'

15'And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod.'

34'And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.'

35'For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.'

36'For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?'

37'Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?'

38'Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.'

37'Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me.'

41'For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.'

42'And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.'

43'And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:'

45'And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:'

47'And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:'

25'And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.'

26'But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.'

25'And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.'

37'And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.'

23'And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me. '

1'In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.'

43'And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent. '

4'And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.'

5'But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.'

8'Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:'

10'And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.'

15'And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.'

22'And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.'

24'Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?'

27'Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.'

29'And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.'

31'But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.'

32'Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.'

33'Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.'

35'Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;'

36'And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.'

37'Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.'

38'And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.'

39'And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.'

40'Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.'

43'Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.'

58'When thou goest with thine adversary to the magistrate, as thou art in the way, give diligence that thou mayest be delivered from him; lest he hale thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and the officer cast thee into prison.'

3'I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.'

5'I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. '

11'For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.'

12'Then said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbours; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee.'

13'But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:'

14'And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.'

26'If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.'

27'And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.'

33'So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.'

34'Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned?'

35'It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.'

7'I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.'

10'Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.'

13'No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.'

15'And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.'

16'The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.'

17'And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.'

18'Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.'

1'Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!'

2'It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.'

3'Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.'

4'And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.'

10'So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.'

20'And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:'

20''Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.'

This seems to be very important as one of Jesus' commands was to seek the Kingdom of God.

23'And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.'

24'And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.'

31'In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.'

32'Remember Lot's wife.'

33'Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.'

10'For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. '

3'Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. '

5'Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. '

6'That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.'

7'Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. '

8'The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. '

11'Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.'

12'If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?'

13'And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.'

14'And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:'

15'That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.'

16'For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever elieveth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.'

17'For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.'

18'He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.'

19'And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.'

20'For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.'

21'But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. '

35'And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. '

24'Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. '

14'If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.'

34'A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. '

15'Jesus answered and said unto him, If ye love me, keep my commandments.'

5'Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.'

10'Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.'

16'Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.'

17'He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.'

26'And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:'

29'He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.'

Pay attention to what is being said by the spririts in this chapter.

2'Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.'

3'Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.'

5'He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.'

3'He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.'

8'I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.'

11'Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.'

12'Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.'

13'He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.'

18'I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.'

19'As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.'

20'Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.'

21'To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.'

22'He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.'

7'Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.'
